We are the Morgans, and we are on a mission.
Our heart is for all Pentecostal believers in Hungary to be discipled in the Word and trained for ministry so they, their church, and their nation can be transformed by God’s Spirit. We believe that the keys to church planting and revitalization and to raising up a missions force out of Hungary are all one and the same: “ordinary” Christians who are Spirit-empowered, spiritually mature, and eager to be used by God.
During our first term in Hungary, we are digging down to bedrock—learning the language, understanding the culture, and developing relationships. By bedrocking first, we will have solid ground on which we can carefully lay the foundation during our second term for our long-term mission. We are here to stay, God willing, so our outlook and plans all focus on future growth and sustainability.
Our family has lived and ministered in Central-Eastern Europe for 2 years. As Missionary Associates with Kidz Romania, we learned about video production from scratch so we could help create a Christian children's television program. Before that, we were children's pastors, long-time lay leaders, discipleship curriculum developers, and youth and music pastors.
We declare with the Apostle Paul: "I don’t care about my own life. The most important thing is that I complete my mission, the work that the Lord Jesus gave me—to tell people the Good News about God’s grace" (Acts 20:24, NCV). This is not just a verse for us as appointed missionaries, but applies to all believers: each of us must participate in spreading the news!
